Anyways Weetzie Bat is a lovely series by Francesca Lia Block. In the first book Weetzie Bat finds a genie (sounds cheesy, but its not) with her friend and they make three wishes that come true way too literally. Like she wishes for her "my secret agent lover man", which to her just means a boyfriend, but she meets a boy named my secret agent lover man, lol. Its very poetic, as are all of blocks books.
